Thank you for visiting Permaculture Journeys and for your interest in our professional services. These General Terms of Service apply to our offering of consultancy and labour services, and are intended to let you know what to expect when collaborating with us as well as to answer some of your preliminary questions. We may amend this document as needed to improve your experience with us. Please note that these General Terms of Service do not constitute the full extent of Terms and Conditions that will apply to your hiring of our services and that are set out in our Service Agreement. The Service Agreement is to be issued by Permaculture Journeys and reviewed and accepted by the client prior to work commencement as outlined in the Quoting section below.
We endeavour to reply to all customer enquiries within 3 business days. However, some rare circumstances such as travels or lack of connectivity in remote areas may delay our ability to come back to you in a timely manner and so we ask that you allow a few extra-days to receive a response. Our consultancy and design implementation services are subject to the issuance of a quote and service agreement, and acceptance by the client is required prior to commencing any work.
Our other labour services are usually offered in response to a demand or job advertising by a business or organisation for a specific role and are therefore managed by that business or organisation and subject to their individual contract requirements.
Permaculture Journeys makes every effort to maintain a clear, honest and regular communication throughout the duration of the Service Agreement. Should any changes of circumstances occur and that may affect the agreed project scope, budget or completion date, we will notify the client of the deviation along with any proposed remediation actions within 1 week.
Invoices submitted by Permaculture Journeys to the client are due within 14 days of receipt. Any late payments will trigger a fee of 20% per month on the amount still owing.
Services may be terminated at any time by mutual agreement of the Parties. In the event that either Party wishes to terminate the services prior to the agreed or estimated date, that Party will be required to provide 2 weeks’ written notice to the other Party and provide all reasonable support to transition or end the work smoothly during that time.
In the event that either Party breaches a material provision under the Service Agreement, the non-defaulting Party may terminate the services immediately and require the defaulting Party to indemnify the non-defaulting Party against all reasonable damages.
